Welcome

Thank you for visiting deborah4twickenham.com. This site contains information about local and national issues that affect you, the residents and businesses of Twickenham. Local democracy should be a living, breathing process, so please use the blog as a forum for comment and debate.

For too long, the residents of Twickenham, Teddington, The Hamptons, Whitton and Heathfield have had the old politics of opportunism and lack of delivery. I believe there is now a new politics of aspiration and opportunity; of rights but also responsibilities; of freedom from the state, not slavery to it; of tolerance, not nannying; of value-for-money public services, not government waste.

That is the Conservative Party that I represent. I hope that you will join me in my aspirations to represent you in Parliament and make Twickenham a cleaner, greener more prosperous place for all of our residents.

I don’t believe that politicians have all of the answers, but I do believe that they can make a positive difference to people’s lives, which is why I am standing to be your MP. I hope to hear from you – please contact me via this site, by e-mail or call my office on 020 8878 7866.
