Syed-KamallThursday 1st October - visit by Syed Kamall MEP

Syed Kamall MEP has recently been re-elected to the European Parliament. Come if you want to hear a rational explanation of the workings of the European Parliament and a common sense view on matters.

Syed’s pocket guides are an invaluable resource for anyone trying to de-mystify the European Parliament, the Lisbon Treaty or how the EU affects local government.

Syed is spokesman on International Trade. Please contact the office for further details of the event which starts at 7 p.m. and is in central Twickenham.
 

Michael Fabricant2009 - visit by Michael Fabricant MP

Michael Fabricant is MP for Lichfield. In June 2003, he was appointed Shadow Minister for Trade & Industry and in November 2003, he became a Shadow Minister for Economic Affairs. Since May 2005, he has served as an Opposition Whip.

Andrew Lansley2009 - visit by Andrew Lansley CBE MP

Andrew Lansley is MP for South Cambridgeshire and Shadow Secretary of State for Health. He has been awarded the CBE

His recent campaigns have included questions on the NHS surplus and cancer treatment.

Sayeeda Warsi2009 - visit by The Baroness Warsi

Sayeeda Warsi is Shadow Minister for Community Cohesion and Social Action and  a former Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party, now Shadow Minister for the City of Sheffield.

Baroness Warsi is the first Muslim to sit at Cabinet level and the first female Muslim to sit for the Conservatives in the Houses of Parliament. At 36 years old Sayeeda will be the youngest member of the Lords.
